The Fire Rooster (Ding You) Month runs from September 7 – October 8, marking a significant turning point in the Fire Horse year. For the first time in 2026, Ding Fire emerges visibly as the monthly Heavenly Stem, revealing the energetic force that has been operating beneath the surface throughout the year.

While Ding has been hidden within the energy of the Fire Horse, it has nevertheless been powering the Horse’s extraordinary processes of creation, transformation and manifestation throughout 2026. Now, as Ding Fire rises to the surface, what has been developing through the year is ready to become more tangible, more visible and more real.

Ding Fire carries a very different quality from Bing Fire. Bing Fire is expansive, radiant and illuminating, casting its light broadly. Ding Fire is concentrated, potent and transformative — the fire that burns, refines, consumes and creates. It is a force of manifestation, bringing things into reality whether consciously intended or otherwise.

This makes September a particularly important month for understanding what the Fire Horse year has actually been creating. The question is no longer simply what we have experienced or learned, but what has all of this Fire actually brought into being?

The Fire Rooster begins with an especially powerful first week for contemplation, reprogramming and discovery. Rather than immediately rushing towards the next objective, this is a period to examine the internal programmes that have been directing our thoughts, choices and responses. What have we been unconsciously creating? What patterns are ready to be transformed?

The New Moon on September 11 offers a powerful refresh point, particularly around interpersonal connection and collective cooperation. As we move through the second half of this extraordinary year, our evolution increasingly depends not only on individual awareness, but on our capacity to connect, communicate and create with others.

September carries an important theme - beyond simply reality becoming visible through creation - but also the repercussions of these creations. These results are from conscious creation when we are aligned and intentional, or as unwanted consequences when unconscious patterns are allowed to keep feeding the flame.

This makes September something of a scorecard for the Fire Horse year. What have the events of 2026 revealed? What has been accelerated, exposed, created or destroyed? The Fire Horse has brought tremendous movement and intensity, and by now, much of what has been developing throughout the year becomes increasingly clear, precise and undeniable.

The Fire Rooster adds another layer of discernment. It asks us to look honestly at what we have achieved, what remains unfinished and, most importantly, what we now know to be true. This is less about speculation and more about confronting reality — and deciding what we will do with what has been revealed.

Energy-wise, the middle of the month also brings an opportunity to stabilise and strengthen our connections. After months of relentless Fire, finding common ground, nurturing meaningful relationships and consciously working together become increasingly important. The question shifts from simply “What can I create?” to “What are we capable of creating together?”

The Full Moon on September 26/27 brings empowering energy, but its greatest potential lies in balance — particularly the balance between strength and softness, individual conviction and connection, and personal evolution and collective consciousness.

As September moves towards its end, another energetic boost prepares us for the next major transition. The month closes with increasing intensity as we approach October’s Dog Month, bringing a more unstable and transformational energetic landscape.

Most importantly, September asks us to take the score. Look clearly at what this extraordinary year has taught you. Refine what is working, release what is not, strengthen the relationships and communities that matter, and become conscious of what you are creating through your thoughts, choices and actions. This month reminds us that creation is not always deliberate — but it is always consequential.

Then, on August 12, THE SOUL REVOLUTION – Through the Lion’s Gate brought our community together around the Total Solar Eclipse. Through meditation, breathwork and conscious reflection, we worked with one of the year’s most powerful moments of solar transformation — continuing our journey of releasing, remembering and consciously creating the next chapter.
